Check-In / Check-Out Policy Check-in is from 2:00 pm on your arranged day of arrival and check-out is before 10:00 am. If for any reason you check-out later than 11:00 am, you will be charged an additional full days rent of $120 per person.
Pet Policy No pets: We regret we cannot accommodate pets.
Minimum Stay Policy 14 -night minimum stay: Every booking must be for at least 14 nights as we charge weekly rates. If you decide to leave mid-week of your stay at any time the full weekly rate still applies. No discounts or refunds will be given. For example: Weekly = Check in Sunday, Check out Sunday
Room Rate Policy Rates are charged per room as follows: regardless if all beds aren’t used: $200 pp in a Twin room with either 2 single beds or 1 bunk bed per week (Maximum 2 people in a room) = $400 per week $200 pp in a Triple room with 1 single bed & 1 bunk bed per week (Maximum 3 people in a room) = $600 per week $400 in a Queen bed room (Max 2 people per room) = $400 per week
All rates are weekly ie. 7 nights, if you stay an extra night/s less than a week the rate of $120 per night applies per room.
Accommodation rates are charged weekly & before arrival– you must always be 1 week ahead in rent. Bond (may be required) $300 per room to cover any incidental costs, departing early or damage to rooms paid prior to arrival with 1 weeks rent. Deposit will be refunded once room checked upon departure. Rates include: room, water, power, gas, internet, parking, use of laundries, kitchens & common rooms.
Minimum Age Policy Age limit 18+: Our age limit is minimum 18. If you are outside of this age range upon the arrival to our hostel, we have the right to cancel your booking without a refund of your deposit.
Non-Smoking Policy Non-smoking: Smoking is forbidden in all areas of our hostel. Unfortunately, we must charge you $300 for infringements to cover the cost of additional cleaning and associated loss of sales. Should the fire department respond to the activation of a fire detector, we must also charge you this considerable fee.
Use of common rooms & kitchens All common rooms & kitchens are Non-smoking: Smoking is forbidden in all areas of our hostel. These spaces are for everyone staying at Rivers Apartments and are shared spaces – please be mindful of others. Clean up after yourself – dishes placed away and clean, wipe down benches & cooktops. Rubbish removed. Laundries are provided for your use. Washing machines are free. Dryers are gold coin. Please use liquid washing detergent in washing machines. Please keep laundries clean and remove your clothes from dryers when finished.
Servicing of rooms We provide weekly servicing of your room. This entails, change of linen, towels, clean bathroom & vacuum and mop floors. Clear access must be provided to cleaners into your room to service. We do not provide toilet paper or amenities ie. soap, shampoo etc Please remove your rubbish regularly and place in skip bins provided.
Parking We provide free onsite parking where available. Please do not park in front of bins or other guests cars. Please do not park in middle of roads – there must be clear access at all times.
Maintenance / room issues Please report any maintenance issues via phone call or text: 0407 565 855 between the hours of 9am-6pm if NON URGENT.
Noise limits There is to be no loud noise or music after 10pm every night or before 9am. Parties will not be tolerated and management reserves the rights to tell you to leave the premises if these rules are broken. We are a multi-cultural community and you must respect others at all times.
